Footloose at The Concourse Theatre, Chatswood
When teenager Ren McCormack moves from Chicago to the small farming town of Bomont, he discovers that local preacher Reverend Shaw Moore has outlawed dancing and rock music following a town tragedy. Alongside the Reverend’s rebellious daughter Ariel Moore and country-boy best friend Willard Hewitt, Ren challenges the town council to heal Bomont’s grief and let the senior class dance again.
Featuring chart-topping 1980s hits including “Footloose”, “Holding Out for a Hero”, “Let’s Hear It for the Boy”, “Almost Paradise”, and “I’m Free (Heaven Helps the Man)”, PACA’s August 2025 production paired dynamic choreography with a powerhouse 12-piece live rock orchestra.
