Planned specifically for adult performers, returning creatives, and musical theatre enthusiasts across Sydney in flexible evening and weekend studio blocks:
- Audition Repertoire & 32-Bar Cut Lab: Polish vocal cuts, cold readings, and callback sides in a supportive studio environment.
- Adult Broadway Jazz & Movement: Build dance-call pick-up speed, spatial confidence, and stylistic versatility across contemporary and classic repertoire.
- Acting Through Song & Ensemble Harmony: Healthy belt/mix placement and multi-part vocal blend for shows like Mamma Mia! and Finding Neverland.
Emerging Artist & Youth Pathways
Structured term workshops and school holiday intensives designed to nurture emerging Sydney musical theatre talent and build confidence for mainstage auditions:
- Junior & Senior Ensemble Readiness: Practical preparation for youth principals and ensembles, following our acclaimed youth casts in Disney’s Frozen and Finding Neverland.
- Triple-Threat Integration: Combining scene study, breath-supported singing, and energetic group choreography.
- NSW Child Safe Standards: Operated strictly under NSW Office of the Children’s Guardian Child Safe Standards.
Technical Stagecraft, QLab & Stage Management
Go behind the curtain to learn the practical backstage mechanics that power our mainstage seasons and our commercial PACA Stagecraft & Costume Hire inventory:
- Stage Management & Cue Calling: Compiling master prompt books, calling lighting/fly/automation cues, and running rehearsal rooms.
- QLab Playback, Vision & RF Audio: Programming QLab workspaces, wireless microphone fitting, and LED video wall workflows.
- Wardrobe Quick-Rigging & Scenic Deck Crew: Fast-change costume plots, prop tracking, and safe bump-in/bump-out operations.

Technique-driven vocal coaching focused on sustainable multi-show vocal stamina, contemporary belt and mix-voice placement, and acting through song. Build confidence in solo audition cuts and complex multi-part ensemble harmonies.
Dance & Stage Movement
High-energy movement exploration designed to develop physical agility, stage presence, and rapid dance-call retention. Learn how ensemble choreography and spatial formations advance theatrical storytelling on a mainstage deck.
Stagecraft & Crew
Master the operational fundamentals of live theatrical production: stage management, deputy stage management (DSM) cue calling, deck automation, wireless RF microphone coordination, QLab audio/vision playback, and backstage logistics during live performances.

When will workshop dates and enrolments open?
All PACA Stagecraft Workshops are currently in the Priority Waitlist (Expression of Interest) phase. Once we reach sufficient registrations on the waitlist for a specific stream (Adult 18+, Youth & Emerging, or Technical Stagecraft), we will lock in the studio timetable and send priority enrolment invitations directly to waitlist members.
Will there be dedicated classes for Adult Performers (18+)?
Yes! We are planning dedicated Adult Musical Theatre, Audition Repertoire, Dance & Technical Stagecraft Workshops (18+) in evening and weekend blocks tailored to working adults, community theatre performers, and auditionees preparing for Sydney theatre auditions and mainstage seasons across Sydney’s premier venues including The Concourse, Chatswood.
How do workshops connect with PACA mainstage productions?
PACA Stagecraft Workshops are built inside an active musical theatre company staging major mainstage musicals with live orchestras (including the 2027 NSW Premiere of Finding Neverland). Visit our Auditions Hub for current mainstage casting calls.
Where will PACA Stagecraft Workshops be held?
Workshops are planned for PACA’s rehearsal studios in Ryde and partner venues in Chatswood on Sydney’s Lower North Shore, with convenient public transport and parking access. Register on the ActZero Waitlist to be notified as soon as your stream launches.
